Our mission is to improve the lives of those in need and to positively impact society through our programs and funding initiatives. This is reflected in our logo, with the Latin character 'C' symbolizing an open embrace (hug), ready to welcome those in need, declaring our pursuit to support and offer assistance to our fellow human beings, and the broader society.

The Vision of our Founder

The vision of our Founder, Costas Cleanthous, is the creation of a new pediatric oncology unit, which will be a landmark in the field of Health for Cypriot society. The Foundation intends to build a state-of-the-art clinic, next to the Makarios Hospital. A clinic on par with the top European ones, offering high-quality conditions of care and hospitality, at the highest level. The construction costs will be fully covered by Costas Cleanthous, through a donation from the Cleanthous Foundation.

The Cleanthous Foundation is currently in discussions with the involved parties regarding the planning and implementation of the project, and we note the positive response so far from both the relevant Ministry of Health and the State Health Services Organization.
